A little further ahead
Weeks from today
Pick a number of weeks. Find the date on the other side.
1 week from today is
Thursday
7 calendar days after October 1, 2026.
Today is October 1, 2026 (UTC). With JavaScript enabled, this adjusts to your device’s time zone.
Count weeks.
Keep the date simple.
Enter the number of weeks you want to add. The calculator begins with today, but you can choose a different starting date for a project, a trip, or a reminder. The result includes the full date and day of the week.
How the calculation works
A week contains seven calendar days. Multiply your number of weeks by seven, then add that many days to your starting date.
Future date = starting date + (weeks × 7 days)
For example, four weeks after January 15 is February 12. The calculator moves across month and year boundaries and accounts for February 29 in leap years. Adding a whole number of weeks keeps the same weekday.
Today, wherever you are
With JavaScript enabled, today follows your device’s time zone. Without it, the page shows a fresh result using UTC. The time zone used is displayed underneath the answer, so a date near midnight is easier to check.
Ahead of
the questions.
Does this include weekends and holidays?
Yes. This counts calendar weeks, each containing seven days. It does not skip weekends or public holidays, and it is not a business-day calculator.
Is four weeks the same as one month?
No. Four weeks is always 28 days. A calendar month can contain 28, 29, 30, or 31 days, so adding a month may produce a different date.
Is today counted as day one?
No. Today is the starting point, or day zero. One week from today is seven days later. Zero weeks returns your starting date.
Can I start from a date other than today?
Yes. Change the starting date and enter a whole number from 0 to 5,200 weeks. Choose “Use today” to return to the current date. Results must fall before the year 10000.
How many days is six weeks?
Six weeks is 42 calendar days. The 6 weeks from today page shows that date immediately, together with each weekly milestone.
