How fast
do you click?
This clicks per second test measures how often you click during a fixed period. Choose a duration, then click inside the large area. Your first click starts the timer and counts toward the total. Keep clicking until the time runs out.
How CPS is calculated
Divide your number of clicks by the test duration in seconds. If you make 65 clicks in 10 seconds, your result is 6.50 CPS. The final score uses the full chosen duration, not the time between your first and last click.
Clicks per second = total clicks ÷ test seconds
Pick a duration that fits your test
A one-second test captures a brief burst. Five or ten seconds gives you more time to settle into a rhythm. Thirty or sixty seconds tests how consistently you can keep clicking. Compare results from the same duration and device for a useful personal reference.
Try again without losing your recent results
Select New test to reset the counter. Your last five completed tests stay below the click area until you reload or close the page. Changing the duration before starting also resets the counter. A running test locks the duration so the scoring stays consistent.
A click
to explain.
What does clicks per second mean?
CPS is the number of clicks divided by the seconds in a timed test. It describes your click rate for that attempt, rather than your mouse’s polling rate or double-click settings.
Does the first click count?
Yes. The first click both starts the timer and adds one to the total. Clicks at or after the end of the test do not count.
Can I use the CPS test on my phone?
Yes. Tap the click area instead of using a mouse. Touchscreen taps and mouse clicks are different inputs, so compare like with like.
What happens if I switch tabs?
A running test is cancelled when you leave the tab. It is not saved as a completed result. Choose New test when you return.
Is there a good CPS score?
There is no universal score for every device, technique, and duration. This tool shows your measured rate without assigning unsupported rankings or percentiles. Use your own comparable attempts to track improvement.
Are right-clicks counted?
No. Use the primary mouse button or touchscreen taps. This is a speed test, not a diagnostic tool for checking every mouse button.
