Just what your
PDF needs.
Add a short note to a document, highlight the passage you want someone to notice, or draw a signature with your mouse or finger. This editor puts your additions on top of the existing page and saves them into a new PDF.
How to edit your PDF online
Choose a PDF and click on the page to start typing. Press Enter or click outside the text to finish. Drag your added text to move it, or click it again to change the words. Drag across an empty area to highlight it; on touchscreens, choose Highlight first. To sign, choose Draw signature and draw directly on the page. Use Undo or Ctrl/Cmd+Z to reverse your latest change. While typing, the shortcut undoes typing as usual.
Review, save, and download
Move between pages using the arrows or page number. When you’re happy with the result, select Save edited PDF, then download the new file. Your original document is not overwritten. Additions are saved into the page content, rather than remaining movable annotations.

A few good questions
About this PDF editor
Is this online PDF editor completely free?
Yes. Adding text, highlights, and drawn signatures is free. You can download the edited PDF without an account, subscription, or watermark.
Can I change or delete text already in the PDF?
No. This simple editor adds new content over the existing page. It does not rewrite existing text, remove original content, redact information, or perform OCR. A scanned page can still receive text, highlights, or a drawn signature.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. The viewer and editing engine run in your browser. Your PDF and additions stay on your device. Download your result before reloading the page or opening a different file.
What kind of signature can I add?
You can draw a visible signature with your mouse, stylus, or finger. This is a mark on the page, not a cryptographic digital signature or identity-verification service.
Which PDFs and text are supported?
Open an unlocked PDF of up to 20 MB and 100 pages, and add up to 200 items. Interactive forms and detected digital certifications are not supported. New typed text uses a standard font and supports Latin characters; you can draw a signature instead of typing a name.
Will editing turn the whole PDF into an image?
No. The preview uses a canvas, but the downloaded file keeps the original PDF pages and adds text and shapes to them. Check the downloaded document before sharing, especially if the original has unusual fonts, layers, or annotations.
Need a separate signature image? Create a transparent signature PNG.
