Your files stay with you.
Plainly’s tools work in your browser. Selected PDF documents and coin-flip results are not uploaded to our server.
PDF files
The PDF merger and editor read only the files you select or drop into them. Processing happens on your device, and the resulting PDF is available for you to download. Files are not saved to website storage. Clear the selection or close the tab when you are done; downloaded copies remain wherever you saved them.
Click-speed tests
Click counts and the last five completed scores stay in page memory. They are not uploaded or saved to browser storage. Reloading or closing the tab clears them.
Coin flips
Your results and match scores are held in page memory. Reloading the page resets them.
Reasoning practice
IQ practice answers and results stay in page memory. They are not uploaded or saved to browser storage. Reloading or closing the tab clears them. Copying a result writes the summary to your clipboard only when you choose that action.
Signature images
Typed names and signature strokes stay in page memory. The generator creates PNG images in your browser without uploading them. Handwriting fonts load from this website; your name is not included in those requests. Reloading clears the pad, while images you downloaded remain on your device.
Text tools
Text conversion, acronym generation, and comparison happen in your browser. Your text is not uploaded or saved to website storage. Choosing a Copy action writes only the result to your clipboard. The comparison tool reads only the local text files you select.
Stopwatch results
Elapsed time and laps stay in page memory and are not uploaded or saved to website storage. Reset, reloading, or closing the tab clears them. Copy laps writes the recorded results to your clipboard when you choose that action.
JSON files
The JSON beautifier reads only the text you paste or the local file you select. Formatting and syntax checking happen in your browser. Your JSON is not uploaded or saved to website storage. Copying writes the result to your clipboard only when you choose that action; downloaded files stay on your device.
Calculators and dice
Numeric calculations and dice rolls happen in your browser. Inputs and results are not uploaded or saved to website storage. Dice history holds the last five rolls in page memory.
Generated passwords
Passwords are generated on your device only when you choose Generate. This tool does not upload, log, or save them. Changing settings, clearing, or reloading removes the current password from the page. Choosing Copy writes the password to your device’s clipboard, which may retain it after the page is cleared or closed.
Cookies and browser storage
This version does not set cookies or save your documents, flip history, or preferences to local storage. Sound is off each time you open the coin tool.
Fonts and other services
Fonts and scripts are served with the website. The PDF engine downloads when you select files, but those files are not sent with the request. There are currently no advertising or analytics scripts.
Website requests
Your browser makes normal requests to load the website. A hosting provider may process request information, such as an IP address, to serve those files.
Future changes
If advertising, analytics, or other services are added, this page will be updated to describe them.
